On March 28, 2018, a creative evening was held dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Turkmen composer Nury Halmammedov, organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation and the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory.
A representative delegation headed by the pro-rector on the scientific and creative part of the Turkmen National Conservatory R. Kh. Amangeldiev came to Moscow from Turkmenistan to attend the event.
Representatives of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly, high-ranking representatives of state institutions, ambassadors and diplomats of foreign countries, businessmen, journalists, cultural and art workers, employees of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation, Turkmen compatriots residing in Russia, as well as Turkmen students studying in higher educational institutions of Moscow participated at the evening.
In the address of the rector of the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory A.S. Sokolov to the participants of the event it was emphasized that the creativity of the prominent Turkmen composer Nury Halmammedov, rich in deep national cultural traditions, found a worthy place in the world musical creativity and gained great popularity.
Holding a cultural event dedicated to the life and work of the famous Turkmen composer at the Moscow Conservatory is of great importance, since Nury Halmammedov gained knowledge in this higher educational institution and began his creative activity.
A cultural and creative event that includes many of the vocal and instrumental works of the People's Artist of Turkmenistan was an expected event in the Russian capital.
