On August 15, 2018, exhibition and business forum was held in Dashoguz city with participation of the representatives of the state bodies, industrial and business circles, art masters of Dashoguz region of Turkmenistan and Khorezm region of Uzbekistan.
The agenda of the business forum highlighted the issues relating to the further expansion of the trade, economic, scientific, technical, cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
During this meeting, video-presentations showing the trends and development potential of Dashoguz region and Khorezm region were presented to the participants. Participants of the forum stressed that there are huge opportunities for intensification of the fruitful cooperation. In this context, the visit of the delegation of the border region of Uzbekistan will give impetus for step-by-step dialog and will contribute to intensification of the multidimensional cooperation between the regions.
Members of the Uzbek delegation thanked Turkmen side for the warm reception and perfect organization of the business meeting. They expressed confidence that reached agreements will help to deepen and reinforce the constructive interstate dialog.
The meeting ended with the joint concert of art masters that took place on the stage of the Dashoguz musical drama theatre named after N.Andalyp.
