The meeting of members of Interstate Commission for Sustainable Development (ICSD) has ended

On August 22, 2018, the meeting of the heads of environment protection agencies in Central Asia was held to discuss burning issues in the framework of ICSD before the Heads of States-founders IFAS Summit in Turkmenbashi.

 The participants of the meeting considered issues of strengthening institutional and legal bases for regional cooperation and sustainable development in the field of environmental protection.

Besides, further improvement of Commission’s work and particularly transfer of chairmanship to the next State on rotating basis were discussed.

The heads of environment protection agencies in Central Asia examined the development of Regional program on environment protection for sustainable development in Central Asia.
