On September 27, 2018 a meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Commonwealth of Independent States was held in Dushanbe.
The heads of the foreign ministries reviewed more than 15 draft documents aimed at further expanding humanitarian cooperation, improving and developing the legal framework of the Commonwealth.
In a narrow format, the heads of delegations exchanged views on topical issues on the international agenda and interaction in the Commonwealth format, and also determined the date and venue of the next meeting of the Ministerial Council. It will take place on April 5, 2019 in Moscow.
All issues previously agreed upon in the agenda of the meeting of the CIS Foreign Ministers Council were approved during the meeting.
On September 28, 2018, a meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States will take place in Dushanbe.
