On November 18-20, 2023, the autumn session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE PA) was held in Yerevan under the motto “OSCE in Times of Crisis: Role of the PA in responding to internal and external challenges”, in which a delegation of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan took part.
Speaking at the session, the Turkmen side voiced the international initiatives of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov regarding issues of ensuring peace and security, put forward during the 78th session of the UN General Assembly.
During the speech, confidence was expressed that Turkmenistan’s proposals would find support from the OSCE PA member states and it was emphasized that Turkmenistan is ready to further develop parliamentary cooperation based on the status of permanent neutrality and peaceful policy.
