Poetry reading days of Magtymguly Fragi took place in Kyiv

In August 2024, the Days of Reading the Poetry of Magtymguly Fragi were held in Kiev. Contemporary Ukrainian scholars and translators of Magtymguly Fragi’s poetry, as well as student youth attended the event.

The poet's poems were read out in Turkmen and Ukrainian languages at the monument to Magtymguly in the central Kiev square and picturesque locations of the Embassy of Turkmenistan.

At the monument to Magtymguly, the youth performed a poem dedicated to Turkmenistan, «The Future of Turkmens», which speaks of the heroic past and prosperity of the nation.

The students recited poems by Magtymguly Fragi calling for the unity of the nation, courage, honesty, determination, hard work and honoring elders.
