On January 9, 2025, representatives of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Pakistan participated in an International Seminar on “Regional Trade and Connectivity: Opening New Horizons and Opportunities” organized by the Institute for Strategic Research, Development and Analysis (ISSRA) jointly with the National Logistics Corporation (NLC) of Pakistan.
The speeches of the ambassadors of Azerbaijan, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan to Pakistan, as well as economic experts from Pakistan and the UAE were heard at the event.
Speakers at the seminar noted the vast prospects for trade and economic cooperation between the countries of Central and South Asia, and discussed ways to effectively unfold this potential.
In his speech, Ambassador of Turkmenistan A. Movlamov emphasized the active role of Turkmenistan in developing cooperation in the field of transport and energy as one of the most important priorities of the country’s foreign policy.
