The Concept of the International Year of Peace and Trust – 2025 was presented at the meeting of the Council of Permanent Plenipotentiary Representatives of the CIS

On January 22, 2025, the first meeting of the Council of Permanent Plenipotentiary Representatives of the Member States to the statutory and other bodies of the Commonwealth was held at the CIS Executive Committee in Minsk.

The event was attended by the CIS Secretary General, heads and staff of the Executive Committee, as well as ambassadors of the participating states.

During the meeting, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Belarus N. Shagulyev familiarized the participants with information «On the Concept of the Activities and priorities of Turkmenistan within the framework of the International Year of Peace and Trust».

In addition, the Council members summed up the results of their activities for 2024 and approved the Council’s Work Plan for 2025.
