On March 18-21, 2025, on the occasion of World Poetry Day, Turkmen students in Ukraine and representatives of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Kyiv held a cultural event - reading poems by outstanding figures and classic poets.
During the event poetic works “Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Peace and Trust” and “Fount of Wisdom of Magtymguly Fragi”, written by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, were read. They are based on the principles of peace, neutrality and goodwill of our independent country, initiatives implemented in the interests of universal well-being, and enduring universal human values.
The focus of the project is the reading of the poem by the outstanding classic, Turkmen poet and philosopher Magtymguly Fragi “The Future of Turkmenistan” in different languages of the world.
The participants of the event emphasized the importance of strengthening friendship, goodwill and cultural dialogue between peoples, promoting the idea of peace and trust, which form the basis of the “Concept of the Activities and priorities of Turkmenistan within the framework of the International Year of Peace and Trust”.
