The Protocol of the first meeting of the Turkmen-Kyrgyz commission on transport, transit and logistics was signed in Bishkek

During the first meeting of the Joint Turkmen-Kyrgyz commission on transport, transit and logistics, held on April 28–30, 2025 in the capital of the Kyrgyz Republic, a Protocol was signed, securing the agreements reached in a number of priority areas.

 These include the development of transit transportation, expansion of multimodal routes, cooperation in the field of automobile, rail and water transport, including the effective use of the capabilities of the Turkmenbashi International Sea Port, as well as the harmonization of approaches to tariff policy.

The next meeting of the commission is scheduled for 2026 and will take place in Turkmenistan.
