The delegation of Turkmenistan took part in the Forum “Italy– Central Asia – Azerbaijan” business forum in Tashkent

On 23-24 March 2026, the delegation of Turkmenistan, headed by Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Turkmenistan B.Berkeliev, took part in the forum held in the format of “Italy–Central Asia–Azerbaijan” on “Innovation, Regenerative Agriculture and Digitalization for Sustainable Agro-Ecosystem” in Tashkent.

Within the framework of the events, the prospects for deepening multilateral partnership in the field of agriculture, the introduction of modern technologies, the efficient use of natural resources, the digitalization of the sector, and the adaptation of agricultural production to contemporary challenges were considered.

In its statement, the Turkmen delegation highlighted Turkmenistan’s efforts in the field of international cooperation, aimed towards the implementation of modern solutions, improving the efficiency of agricultural production, and expanding sustainable business ties in the agricultural and agro-industrial sectors.

As part of the forum, a bilateral meeting was held between B.Berkeliev, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Turkmenistan, and I.Abdurakhmonov, Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
