On March 17, 2023, at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Vienna, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Austria, together with the Embassies of Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, India, Iran, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and the the “Society” magazine, organized a cultural event dedicated to the International Novruz holiday.
In frames of this event, musical concerts, exhibitions and demonstrations of national dishes were organized.
Handmade carpets, national ornaments and souvenirs were presented in the exhibition pavilion of the Embassy of Turkmenistan. At the same time, the portraits and literary works of the famous poet of the Turkmen people Magtymguly Fragi, demonstrated at the exhibition, attracted special attention of the participants of the event.
The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Austria in his speech at the event noted that in 2024 the celebration of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great thinker and classical poet of the East Magtymguly Fragi is envisaged and acquainted the participants with his work. The collection of poems of the great Turkmen classic poet, translated into different languages of the world, aroused great interest among the participants of the exhibition.
