The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Japan A.Bayramov took part in the event on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), as well as the 20th anniversary of the UNITAR office in Hiroshima, Japan.
The participants of the event discussed the important role of the UN in training national and local civil servants of the UN Member States in promoting peace, prosperity through sustainable economic growth, preserving the environment within the climate change, as well as optimizing the use of technology and ensuring coherence of the Agenda 2030.
The meeting was attended by UN Assistant Secretary General, Executive Director of UNITAR N.Seth, Minister of foreign affairs of Japan Y.Hayashi, representatives of the House of Representatives of Japan, as well as foreign diplomats and international politicians.
