From October 3 to 5, 2023, the city of Dushanbe is hosting the 11th International Book Exhibition “Kitobi Dushanbe-2023”, in which, along with the diplomatic corps accredited in Tajikistan, the Embassy of Turkmenistan presented its book stand, decorated in the national style.
The international book exhibition presents books and publications dedicated to the foreign and domestic policies of Independent and Permanently Neutral Turkmenistan, as well as the achievements of the state during the years of independence.
A special place at the exhibition is occupied by the works of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
The book stand of Turkmenistan also displays fiction, popular science works, and periodicals telling about the rich, multifaceted Turkmen culture, history and art.
As part of the international exposition, the Embassy held a presentation ceremony of a special magazine dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Tajikistan. The presentation was attended by leaders and representatives of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan, the National Library of Tajikistan, the National Museum of Tajikistan, representatives of the diplomatic corps in Dushanbe, as well as students and representatives of the public.
