On August 15, 2016 in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan were held political consultations between the foreign ministries of the two countries. A delegation of the Israeli side was headed by the Deputy Director-general of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Israel Mr. Tswi Raw Ner.
The parties noted with satisfaction the effective development of mutually beneficial cooperation, expressing the view that regularly held political consultations are one of the important mechanisms contributing to the promotion of Turkmen-Israeli comprehensive partnership. In this case, the Foundation of interactions remains successfully develop both countries political dialogue.
During the talks the sides discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in political-diplomatic, trade-economic and cultural fields, widening ties in the areas of health, agriculture and water management. Suggestions were made to enhance inter-parliamentary relations. The Israeli side expressed support for expanding cooperation in education, science and technology, through the exchange of experience and training. The parties also discussed the possibility of holding days of culture of the two countries, as well as business forums with the participation of Turkmen and Israeli business communities.
Upon completion of the meeting, the sides stressed the importance of continuation of established dialogue for further diversification of fruitful cooperation that are of mutual interest.
