The extraordinary session of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC)
On January 19, 2017 in Kuala Lumpur the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) convened an Extraordinary Session on the Situation of the Rohingya Muslim Minority in Myanmar, which was an initiative of Malaysia.
The session was attended by representatives of 57 OIC Member States, including the delegation of Turkmenistan.
Within the framework of the working visit to Malaysia Turkmen delegation had a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia, Mr. Anifah Aman, during which the parties discussed the prospects of development of bilateral relations and cooperation within international organizations.
