President of the Republic of Uzbekistan arrived in Turkmenistan

On October 10, 2019, the delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan headed by the President Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Ashgabat to participate in the Session of the Heads of States’ Council of the Commonwealth of Independent States.

In the framework of the visit, the meeting of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev with the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov was held. In the course of the meeting, the heads of two countries considered the issues of bilateral cooperation in different spheres of economy. Also, the major directions of cooperation in the framework of Commonwealth were discussed.
