On February 21, 2017 an exhibition of the traditional export products of the Republic of Turkey opened at the Exhibition Complex of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan. The exhibition was organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and the Turkish company «Meridýen Uluslararasi Fuarçilik».
To participate in the exhibition a large delegation consisting of more than 160 representatives of state structures of Turkey, heads and specialists of 60 companies and enterprises arrived in Ashgabat. The considerable parts of the exhibitors are the companies-manufacturers who presented in Turkmenistan their capabilities and advanced technology for the first time.
The opening ceremony was attended by the members of the Government, heads of the ministries and departments, deputies of the national parliament, representatives of diplomatic missions, accredited in Turkmenistan, businessmen and representatives of the media.
Speaking at the opening ceremony the head of the delegation of the Republic of Turkey - Deputy Economy Minister Ibrahim Şenel said that the strengthening of trade and economic relations with Turkmenistan is one of the priorities of the foreign policy of Turkey. Today's event will contribute to the implementation of new joint projects, further development of relations of friendship and cooperation.
In their exposition the Turkish producers have presented a wide range of export quality products, including equipment and components for industrial and agricultural industries, building materials, home appliances and electronics, detergents, various cosmetic products, household products, as well as pastries.
