On February 23, 2017 a practical conference entitled "International sports cooperation of Turkmenistan: the triumph of health, friendship and inspiration" was held in the building of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The forum was organized by the State Committee on TV, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography and the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The conference was attended by the representatives of the ministries and agencies, students, teachers and professors of the number of the higher educational institutions and representatives of public organizations of the country.
Speakers at the conference noted the great attention the respected President of Turkmenistan pays the development of Turkmen sport, its advancement to the higher level and on a huge propaganda work carried out in this direction. Also, in the speeches it was noted that currently a lot of work is being done in preparation for the V Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games to be held in Ashgabat this year, and that this historic event will provide an opportunity to present the Turkmen sport worldwide.
