On February 28, 2017 in the building of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan next XIII specialized exhibition of products and objects of decorative and applied arts of the Islamic Republic of Iran started its work.
A representative delegation of about 40 major Iranian companies specializing in such areas as light and heavy industry, oil and gas and chemical industry, energy, construction and food production has arrived in Ashgabat to participate in the exhibition. A number of exhibition halls were dedicated to Iranian culture - folk crafts, arts and crafts, including ceramics, glass art, stamping, carving and inlay.
The opening ceremony of the specialized exhibition was attended by the heads and representatives of the ministries and agencies of Turkmenistan, heads of accredited diplomatic missions and international organizations, representatives of mass media.
A Welcome Address of the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov was read at the opening ceremony of the exhibition. In his message, the Head of State stressed that the development of the Turkmen-Iranian trade and economic relations is of great importance for the strengthening of mutually beneficial multilateral partnership between the state structures and the business circles of the two countries.
On the first of March, within the framework of the exhibition there will be held bilateral business forum, the agenda of which contains a wide range of cooperation issues, including the priority joint projects for the near future.
The exhibition will continue its work until the 2nd of March.
