On April 27, 2017, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan there was a meeting with the new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to Turkmenistan (with residence in Tashkent), Mr. Peter Sante, who arrived in Ashgabat on a working visit.
During the meeting speaking about trusting and mutually beneficial relations between Turkmenistan and Hungary, the sides noted with satisfaction the active and multilevel political dialogue, which is held on a regular basis. In this context, the parties noted the role of visits at high levels.
During the negotiations, issues of further development of bilateral relations in the political and trade and economic fields were considered. The sides also made proposals on the activation of trade cooperation. Particular attention was paid to the issues of cooperation in science and education. In addition, there was noted a mutual interest in deepening cooperation in the field of rational use of water resources.
During the meeting, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to Turkmenistan Mr. Peter Sante presented copies of his credentials.
