On August 22, 2016, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan there was the meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Malaysia to Turkmenistan Mr. Roseli bin Abdul.
During the meeting, noting the high level of political cooperation, the sides discussed issues of further development of relations between Turkmenistan and Malaysia in various fields of mutual interest. Speaking of trusting and mutually beneficial relations between the countries appreciation was marked active and multi-level political dialogue, which is held on a regular basis.
There was an exchange of views on issues of expanding trade-economic cooperation. Among the priority areas of mutual interest were noted in the areas of energy and education. The sides noted the importance of holding joint events to deepen cultural and humanitarian component of relations.
During the meeting, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Malaysia to Turkmenistan Mr. Roseli bin Abdul presented the copies of his credentials. Noting the importance of expanding cooperation between the two countries in various areas, the Ambassador said that being as a plenipotentiary representative of his country in Turkmenistan intended to make every effort for the further development and strengthening of mutual relations and cooperation between the two countries.
