Meeting of the Permanent Representative of Turkmenistan to the UN Office in Geneva with the Director General of WIPO

On May 31, 2022, the Permanent Representative of Turkmenistan to the UN Office in Geneva, Atageldi Khaljanov, had a meeting with the Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization, Mr. Daren Tang.

During the meeting, an exchange of views took place on the directions and priorities of interaction between Turkmenistan and WIPO. In this context, the importance of the Program for the Development of the Intellectual Property System of Turkmenistan for 2021-2025, adopted in December 2020, was noted, where a significant role is given to expanding cooperation with specialized international organizations, including WIPO and the Eurasian Patent Organization (EAPO).
