On June 22, 2023, as part of the visit of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Mahri Byashimova to the United Arab Emirates, negotiations were held with the Director General of the Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research Dr.Sultan Mohammed Al-Nuaimi.
During the meeting, the Turkmen diplomat noted the commitment of Turkmenistan to the development of fraternal and friendly relations with the UAE and expressed hope for further strengthening of the Turkmen-Emirati relations.
In frames of the visit a study tour was held, during which the activities of the Center were presented.
Apart from that, the head of the Turkmen delegation addressed to the staff of the Center on the topic “Permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan”, during which she briefed on the most important aspects of the foreign policy strategy of the Turkmen state.
At the end of the meeting, an exchange of views took place in the "question-answer" format.
In the afternoon, the Turkmen Deputy foreign minister met with the Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for International Development Affairs Sultan Mohammed Al Shamsi.
During the talks, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to friendly interstate relations, as well as the intensification of interaction within the framework of authoritative international structures.
Taking the opportunity, the Turkmen side invited the Assistant Minister to the solemn opening ceremony of the city of Arkadag.
