On September 18, 2017, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan there was a meeting with members of the delegation of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, led by the Deputy Minister of Culture, Sport and Tourism Le Khan Khai, who arrived to participate in the opening ceremony of the 5 Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games.
First of all, the guest expressed gratitude to the Turkmen side for the opportunity to the representatives of Vietnam to take part in the opening ceremony of the 5 Asian Games in Ashgabat.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to the development of cooperation in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian spheres and in the areas of sport and tourism, as well as the opportunities for expanding cooperation within the framework of international organizations.
At the end of the meeting, the Vietnamese side once again wished great success to the 5 Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games, as well as all athletes taking part in them.
