On 28 November 2024, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Myahri Byashimova met with the Coordinator of OSCE Economic and Environmental Activities Bakyt Dzhusupov.
During the meeting, the sides noted the significance of the Second Ashgabat Conference «Parliamentary Diplomacy in the OSCE Area: Dialogue as a Tool for Building Bridges for a Secure and Peaceful Future» in strengthening regional dialogue, promoting comprehensive approach to ensuring security, lasting and sustainable peace.
The interlocutors noted with satisfaction the long-term fruitful cooperation between Turkmenistan and the OSCE, in particular in the economic and environmental dimension of the OSCE’s activities.
The prospects for cooperation with the OSCE were also discussed, in particular the possibility of establishing new forms of cooperation in key areas such as energy and environmental security, transport interconnectivity and others.
