On December 10, 2024, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Ahmet Gurbanov met with the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Denmark to Turkmenistan (with residence in Moscow) Jesper Vahr at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, who presented copies of his credentials.
А. Gurbanov congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment to the responsible post and expressed readiness of the Turkmen side to provide assistance and support in the implementation of his diplomatic activities.
During the meeting, the parties considered the prospects of building up bilateral relations in political-diplomatic, trade-economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres. It was noted that cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Kingdom of Denmark is developing on the basis of the principles of mutual respect, equality and mutually beneficial partnership.
