On December 11, 2017, in the premises of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan received a delegation headed by the State Secretary for Eastern Neighborhood and Multilateral Relations at the Global Level of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania Danut Sebastian Nekoulescu.
During the meeting, the sides noted the positive dynamics of the development of relations and the existing prospects for cooperation between Turkmenistan and Romania. Noting the commitment to expand further cooperation, the sides discussed issues of cooperation in various fields of mutual interest.
Speaking about the active work of Turkmenistan in the international arena, the sides noted the potential for positive neutrality of the country in the implementation of the goals set in the goals of sustainable development. In this context, the sides paid attention to the importance of interaction in the international arena and considered a number of issues for further consolidation of efforts to strengthen peace, security and development.
