As reported at the Government session on 9 March, preparations are underway for the scheduled upcoming official visits to the State of Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates by the President of Turkmenistan.
In this regard, it was noted that one of the key vectors of the country’s foreign policy course is expanding cooperation with the countries of Middle East. The head of state was pleased to mention the constructive nature of relations with Kuwait and the UAE, and stressed the tremendous potential and perspectives for developing bilateral economic and commercial ties, intensifying investment activities and business contacts, as well as enhancing the dialog in humanitarian and cultural spheres.
Importance of upcoming high-level talks was stressed in the context of outlining the key vectors of long-term cooperation with the State of Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates. Following every visit, a considerable document package will be signed.
Vice Premier, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, was tasked with preparing the visits and ensuring they are held at the highest organizational level.
