On March 14, 2018, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Romania jointly with the University of Oil and Gas in Ploiesti in the Senate Hall of the University organized a round table on energy and transport diplomacy of Turkmenistan.
The round table was attended by management, faculty and students of the University, representatives of the city administration of Ploesti, president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Prahova County, representatives of the Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania, members of the diplomatic corps accredited in Romania, representatives of the business community of the Prakhova County, as well as representatives of local media.
Within the framework of the round table, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan in his speech briefed the participants about the international initiatives of the President of Turkmenistan and country's international efforts in the energy and transport spheres, as well as with major infrastructure projects implemented by Turkmenistan in these areas. During the meeting, the participants were shown a video about the achievements of the country in the energy and transport spheres.
All speakers from the Romanian side at the round table spoke in support of international efforts undertaken by the country in the energy and transport spheres and expressed their readiness to cooperate with Turkmenistan in these areas.
At the end of the round table the Embassy of Turkmenistan organized a cocktail for the participants.
