On May 18, 2023, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Tajikistan took part in the international action "Night at the Museum", organized in the building of the National Museum of Tajikistan in the city of Dushanbe.
The opening ceremony of a multidisciplinary cultural event dedicated to the International Museum Day was attended by heads and representatives of diplomatic missions and representative offices of international organizations accredited in Dushanbe, the leadership of the ministries of foreign affairs, culture, education and science of the country, representatives of the scientific intelligentsia and public organizations, as well as student youth.
The Turkmen exposition, decorated in the national style, was decorated with traditional costumes, folk decorations and colorful handmade carpets, works of arts and crafts, as well as paintings demonstrating a wide palette of the identity of the Turkmen people, their centuries-old culture and traditions.
As part of the celebration, the Embassy of Turkmenistan held a presentation of the city of Arkadag.
The guests of the event were acquainted with the implementation of a set of technological and environmental works carried out in the city of Arkadag based on the concept of a "smart" city, implemented at the initiative of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
During the presentation concept, the attention of the guests of the event was presented to the scientific works of the Hero-Arkadag, as well as other publications and publications telling about the modern achievements of Turkmenistan in various industries.
A separate stand dedicated to the Day of the Constitution and the State Flag of Turkmenistan attracted special attention of visitors to the current international action.
Songs performed by bakhshi and treats of guests with dishes of the national Turkmen cuisine complemented the flavor of the national stand of Turkmenistan.
