On December 7, 2017, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Turkmenistan, Mr. Jong Tae-In, who is completing his diplomatic mission in Turkmenistan.
During the meeting, the Ambassador expressed his sincere gratitude to the Turkmen side for the assistance and support of the Embassy's activities over the years. Speaking about the high achievements in the political sphere, the parties expressed their commitment to further strengthening cooperation within international organizations. Noting the high level of the Turkmen-Korean relations, the parties noted great prospects for trade-economic cooperation and interaction between business circles of the two countries.
Underlining the achievements in the cultural and humanitarian sphere, the parties agreed to further develop cooperation in this direction. In this context, attention was focused on the issues of holding joint cultural events, as well as on the prospects for the development of cooperation in the field of education.
At the end of the meeting, the Turkmen side thanked the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea for his contribution to strengthening bilateral relations and mutually beneficial partnership between the two countries.
